Frances L. "Midge" Wilson, 77, of Greensburg, passed away at 11:22 a.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Arbor Grove Village in Greensburg. She was born on March 23, 1947, in Rushville, the daughter of Glen E. and Leona Mae (Singer) Burton. She was raised in Decatur County and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church at Millhousen. She was a former employee of Gecom, Wheaton Tubing and Lee's CubeCo. She enjoyed playing the guitar, playing poker, and crocheting. She is survived by her daughters, Marcella E. Gabbard of Westport and Michelle E. Colley of Greensburg; her son, Floyd E. (Jennifer) Vanvolkenburgh of Greensburg; her brother, Danny Quiles of Iowa City, Iowa; her grandchildren, Amy, Gretchen, Keith, Haley, Walker and Hunter; her step grandchildren, Tasha and Josh; her great grandchildren, Kiersten, Alexa, Joshua, Jacob and Jaxson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John, Chester, Don, Mark and Terry Burton. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Redd officiating. Burial will follow at Westport Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, January 25 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Greensburg Animal Shelter or the American Lung Society through the funeral home.
